Group Retail Portal provides a standardized and secure access to all needed applications on a retail level to allow all users to focus on their work.

ABOUT

Group Retail Portal is an integration portal for numerous applications and systems. Each market has its own integration portal, which allows a market specific application of portfolios. Global roles are standard, but also market specific roles can be implemented, based on individual needs. Standard roles include managing director, service technician, workshop manager and head of service, to name just a few examples.

The importer assigns the role managing director or local administrator to all contractually related dealers who in turn authorize employees by assigning business roles. The employees are instantly able to use all applications which were assigned to the specific roles based on brand and contract.

SYSTEM OVERVIEW

The following graphic illustrates the functionalities and benefits of the Group Retail Portal to support local markets.

ROLLOUT

The rollout follows a multi-brand approach. All necessary material and documents (i.e. IT- requirements) are included in the rollout checklist.

  • Multi-device capability (desktop, tablet, smartphone)
  • Multi-browser capability (Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox)
  • Training concept available
  • Manual and Skype live sessions with product experts are provided and rolled out to the market responsible
  • System default language is English
  • Translation of the text within the GRP needs to be provided by markets and will be deployed in the system respectively
  • Users can eventually choose its default language
  • Monthly reporting with rollout status is provided to responsible employees at the brand and can be requested by the respective markets
  • GRP provides legal notice and general terms & conditions which can be adapted to market-specific needs
  • Marketing package and user manual with further information is available for download

          Dealer rollout completed: GRP 4 is available worldwide for at least three users per dealer

          GRP 5.0 upgrade: Upgrade to cloud version including user migration from GRP4 will be implemented in CW 12-22

          TOTP rollout: Strong authentication via TOTP will be available and deployed for all relevant users between CW 12-22

          Compliance enforcement: All relevant users can access GRP 5.0 via Strong Authentication (TOTP) and dealer portal access has been restricted (EU 28 = 1.7.20)
